4th-8th Grade (5A &6A) Large School Division 1 and Large School D2

Example:

North Salem 5th Grade has 1 team but they are not competitive so they would play in Large D2 on March.

North Salem 7th has two teams, an A and B team. A team would play March 7th and the B team would play small school/D2 on Feb 21.

The Oregon Mid-High Madness STATE Basketball Tournament is Back Bigger and Better!

In partnership with the greater valley high schools, The PAC Community Center, and OAB Basketball; we are proud to announce the STATE championships have moved to Salem.

The STATE basketball championship will be played at the end of the winter season held for boys and girls school based teams from 4th to 8th grade.

Teams can qualify by winning/placing in League and Tournaments. Teams will also qualify based on weekly rankings! Top 25 in each division will get invited to State. Welcome to STATE, where our goals are to provide a great experience for our youth community while also raising money for our local schools in Oregon!

TEAM RANKINGS

Similar to OSAA High School, mid-high school teams will be ranked weekly based on results of their play in the qualifying events. Teams that rank in the Top 25 at the end of the season on February 10th, 2025 will be automatically qualified for the STATE tourney.

Rankings will also determine seeding for the STATE tourney.
